Our worship services will continue to be be broadcast on Facebook Live and YouTube.

Welcome to Independence Christian Center! Our desire at ICC is to provide opportunity and resources for the individual to be changed and spiritually developed by an ever deepening experience with Jesus Christ.  Satisfaction, security, provision and purpose are all found in Him and growing into destiny is what ICC is all about.  We're here for you!

Independence Christian Center is a non-denominational, full gospel, evangelical, local church with a vision to minister to the community and the world.

Praise Jesus!

We have received the "go ahead" to reopen the church for worship and so this coming Sunday, May 17th, we will resume "IN PERSON" worship! Hallelujah! So in the following I wanted to give you some details:

This will be what they are calling a "soft opening," meaning we are not bringing every ministry of the church back on-line immediately. There will be no children’s ministry at first, because we as humans are not made to "social distance" and very young children in particular will want to behave as God made us and not understand these restrictions. Their absence is grievous to me but necessary. We have some of the smartest and cutest kids anywhere (as you are well aware) and I have missed their sunshine … but we will work them back in as soon as we possibly can. We will keep you updated on this.

Our pre-service intercessory prayer will be at 8:30 a.m. in the usual place.

Our worship and ministry of the Word will be at 10:00 am in … the usual place (glory!).

Sunday evening classes will resume at some point in the near future.

Wednesday evening services will be at 7:00 p.m.

As everywhere else right now, if you are feeling ill or running any kind of a fever at all, please do not come until the symptoms subside. Also, if you would feel better wearing a mask while attending you certainly may do so, but we are NOT requiring it. We are NOT required to keep a roster of attendees and will not. As required, we request that everyone keep their "social distance." Again, this runs directly counter to our God-given nature but we must observe it for the time being. Avoid hugging, hand shaking, and direct contact with individuals not part of your immediate family.

Since our building has been "underutilized" for quite a while already, I do not anticipate any problem complying with JaxCo’s occupancy restrictions. Immediate families may sit together but otherwise we need to sit at least six feet away from the nearest individual. The ushering crew will help us with this. Many rows of the church will be closed to help facilitate the distancing requirements and we appreciate your attention to all such signage and hope to return your "regular seat" to you in the not too distant future. A little humor there.

If you are one whom the medical authorities have declared "at risk" and you are not sure you wish to gather at this time, I completely understand. Please do not feel any pressure. We will be on the web as usual but look forward to seeing you just as soon as we can. You are important to us.

This Sunday only, I will be addressing those who are present for a few minutes prior to the start of the service to explain a few things about the new "regime" going forward. Our permanent presence on the web is something of a game-changer and I want everyone to know how we are approaching it.

I’m really excited about Sunday – I really hope to see you!
